Simple exercises for legs may come in the form of leg lifts.This kind of workout is useful for toning thigh muscles. This could be done by lying on the right side with the hips, knees, and shoulders aligned. The right hand can serve as a support for your head. 

You can place your left hand in front of you to keep the body in position.  Lift your leg up as high as you comfortably can. Do this 10 times and then shift your position to work out your right leg. Depending on your level of flexibility, you can do this exercise either with your legs bent or straight.
